2. Special word, words, images or phrases you would like incorporated into your design
3. A color palette

Add a Window to your Wall!




I love using old windows to frame large collages! First of all, they make such a strong statement when hung in a room. Old windows have character and stories behind them and they immediately draw people in. I think window collages are an excellent vehicle to tell YOUR story through. The large horizontal window above hangs in our kitchen. It tells the story of my family. There are photograph of my grandparents wedding, my parents wedding and my own wedding. I incorporated images of family members and wording that is meaningful to me: grow, family, life, love. Windows make great gifts for grandparents or newlyweds... to tell the story of their life.
